Autobead Christmas Grand Prix – Karting at Thruxton

Grand Prix racing is one of the most exciting forms of Motorsport. Plenty of track time, ultra-competitive and thoroughly rewarding, Thruxton Grand Prix events are the most popular format the centre run. Imagine racing wheel to wheel with your friends or colleagues, sat only inches off the ground in 60mph racing karts, four abreast into the first corner - this is the closest thing you'll get to racing without a licence.

The practice session gives enough time to learn the circuit in preparation for the first heat race. Heading up to the first corner approaching 50mph, this is proper racing! If you don't do well the first time, then there's always another race to make up some places. Then a final awaits (all drivers will drive in a Final). The top three receive trophies.

The Autobead Christmas Grand Prix:

• Arrival & sign-on.
• Suits & helmets.
• Briefing session.
• 8-minute practice.
• Heat 1 - 8 laps.
• Heat 2 - 8 laps.
• 12 lap final.
• Presentation and Trophies.
• Approx 2.5hrs total.

9.30am until midday with limited spaces available. See you on the grid!
