Autobead Silex Pro Paint Coating Warranty

Warranty Claim Procedure:

1. Visit your Autobead Accredited Detailer for a complete vehicle assessment before starting your claim procedure.

If your installer confirms the failure of:

  • Silex Series 1 Year Paint Coating
  • Silex Series 2 Year Paint Coating
  • Silex Pro 3 Year Paint Coating
  • Silex Pro 5 Year Paint Coating
  • Silex Pro 5 Year Graphene Coating
    • then visual and written documentation must be sent to warranty@autobead.com.

    2. If your claim is approved, your Accredited Detailer will offer to re-apply the coating free of charge.

    3. If your claim is rejected, your installer will provide an alternative solution that may involve paid services.

    The Following Conditions Apply When Making a Claim for Any Product Defects or Failures:

    1. Your Autobead Accredited Detailer must be notified of any claim due to failure of product performance within 30 days of occurrence.

    2. The Autobead Accredited Detailer who completed the original application must carry out any application or re-application.

    1. What is the Autobead Silex Paint Coatings Warranty Autobead Silex Coatings come with a warranty which matches their labelled durability:
  • Silex Series 1 Year Paint Coating
  • Silex Series 2 Year Paint Coating
  • Silex Pro 3 Year Paint Coating
  • Silex Pro 5 Year Paint Coating
  • Silex Pro 5 Year Graphene Coating

    • As detailed below, rules and provisions apply to the validity of this warranty.

    2. What are the basic terms?
  • The warranty must be registered within seven days of installation.
  • The owner must complete an annual coating inspection with the installer.
  • The owner must maintain the vehicle in conjunction with the Autobead Silex Terms of Maintenance.
    • 3. What is covered?

    The coating will maintain the gloss of your car, protect it from most elements, and retain its self-cleaning capabilities. It will also make removing bird droppings, organic contamination, tar deposits, bugs, and acid marks easier. The coating's beading and sheeting properties will last at least 50% of the coating durability promise after application. Providing you follow the recommended maintenance guidelines and avoid exposing your car to extreme conditions.

    4. What is not covered?

    Autobead does not cover anything outside the coating features or types of failure mentioned in point (3).

    5. Terms & Conditions - The Warranty Is Only Valid If The Following Conditions Are Fulfilled:

    If the coating installed is:

  • 3 Year Paint Coating
  • 5 Year Paint Coating
  • 5 Year Graphene Coating

    • Then

  • An Autobead Accredited Detailer must install it in a controlled indoor environment applied the coating.
  • The vehicle must remain indoors and dry for 12 hours to cure and bond successfully to the car’s surface.

    • If the coating installed is:

    1 Year Paint Coating (2 hours required cure time) 2 Year Paint Coating (4 hours required cure time)

    Then

  • An Autobead Accredited Detailer must install outdoors on a dry day, out of direct sunlight, and between 8–30C
  • OR indoors in a controlled, dry environment.
  • The car must not get wet during the required curing period to ensure a successful bond between the ceramic coating and the car’s surface.

    • All coatings follow these conditions:

  • The process followed the manufacturer's guidelines and the most up-to-date user manual.
  • The warranty was registered online within the first seven days after installation.
  • The vehicle was not washed with any detergents for the first 10 days to allow the coating to cure.
  • The car was not washed in an automatic or commercial car wash.
  • After the initial service, the vehicle was not serviced by any other detailing company not approved by Autobead, including dealerships and workshops.
  • The paint surface was decontaminated with Autobead Iron Remover, and Autobead Heavy Dirt (25:1 dilution) was used at least once every three months for maintenance.
  • The warranty is only valid for the registered owner at the installation time and is not transferable.
  • The warranty is void on damaged or repaired panels.
  • The car was maintained using only Autobead Maintenance Products following the “Terms of Maintenance” process.
    • 6. Terms of Maintenance
  • An annual inspection with the Autobead Accredited Detailer.
  • If the customer notices bird lime on the vehicle, they should safely remove it immediately to reduce the chance of damage..
  • Customers can maintain the vehicle or have an Autobead Accredited Detailer maintain it.

    • If the customer opts to maintain it by themselves, they must maintain the vehicle every four weeks, following these steps:
  • Pre-wash (using Autobead Heavy Dirt (25:1 dilution) and/or Autobead Snow Foam (4:1 dilution))
  • Contact Wash (using Autobead Ceramic Shampoo or Autobead Pure Shampoo)
  • Protection (using Autobead Ceramic Quick Detailer or Autobead Quick Detailer)

    • The customer must decontaminate the vehicle every three months with the following steps:
    • Pre-wash (using Autobead Heavy Dirt (25:1 dilution) and/or Autobead Snow Foam (4:1 dilution))
    • Decontamination (using Autobead Iron Remover. IF required, use Autobead Tar Gel)
    • Contact Wash (using Autobead Ceramic Shampoo or Autobead Pure Shampoo)
    • Protection (using Autobead Ceramic Quick Detailer or Autobead Quick Detailer)
